Welcome to the Somerset County, NJ 4-H Stamp Club

The new Somerset County, NJ 4-H Stamp Club is a new club for youth members interested in collecting stamps and learning more about the “hobby of kings and the king of hobbies”.

Our club is dedicated to exploring the world of stamp collecting, also known as philately (phil-LAT-ta-lee). Our club will learn about the many different ways to enjoy stamp collecting, including traditional album collections, US and foreign stamps, first day issues and covers, pictorial postmarks, ceremony programs, and new and exciting trends in postcrossing, letter writing and journaling, and more!

Our club is open to youth in grades 4 through 13. It does not require any level of knowledge about stamps or stamp collecting, nor any previous experience with stamps.

Our club does not yet have a set meeting schedule – meeting dates, times and locations will be determined once there is sufficient interest among youth members in joining this club.
